1 Day in Virginia Beach
On one of our latest weekend trips, Sean and I took a drive to Virginia and spent a day at the beach. Being from California, I had never visited the Atlantic Ocean before, so it was a really great first experience – for me AND our dog, Raven. We live closer to Pittsburgh in PA, and we decided to drive to Virginia after work on Friday. It took us about 8 hours, but we finally made it to the beach just as the sun was coming up. 48 Hours in Pittsburgh On a Budget
Lately, Sean and I have been spending a lot of time exploring the city of Pittsburgh. He grew up in this area and has lived near the city his entire life, so he knows his way around pretty well. But, being from California, I haven’t spent too much time in the Steel City.

The Pittsburgh Brewery You NEED To Visit
Last weekend, Sean and I went beer tasting in Pittsburgh. As LUCK would have it, we wound up going on St. Patrick’s Day. (Do you see what I did there? Ha!) All of the bars and breweries that we made it to were super busy of course, especially the ones on the north side of town and down by the strip. Although we both enjoy craft beers, we’re not huge connoisseurs, so it wasn’t hard to find some good brews and have a good time. For us, our mission when we went was just as much about finding somewhere with an atmosphere that resonated with us, as well as having…
